How do I setup VPN?

Answer

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection allows you to access certain highly secure campus online resources remotely. UA's VPN will require you to login to MyBama with your existing UserID/Password combination along with a second password. The second password will be pushed to your cellphone via Duo.


First, you  need to install the Duo app. If you are a University of Alabama student, you should already have done this. See https://oit.ua.edu/service/duo-faqs/

 

Next, download and and install VPN software. You must use your MyBama UserID/password combination.
